Affiliations

The Robert W. Woodruff Foundation supports a number of organizations that serve the field of philanthropy. Participating in these group allows the Foundation’s board and staff to learn from and collaborate with other grantmaking and nonprofit organizations.

    • Council on Foundations

      The Council on Foundations is a nonprofit membership association of more than 1,600 grantmaking foundations and corporations in the U.S. and abroad. The Council’s mission is to provide the opportunity, leadership and tools needed by philanthropic organizations to expand, enhance and sustain their ability to advance the common good.

      Established in 1956 and today supported by close to 550 foundations, the Foundation Center is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. Its mission is to strengthen the social sector by advancing knowledge about philanthropy in the U.S. and around the world.

    • Philanthropy Southeast

      The Southeastern Council of Foundations is a membership association of more than 330 grantmakers working together to strengthen, promote and increase philanthropy in 11 Southeastern states.

    • Georgia Grantmakers Alliance

      The Georgia Grantmakers Alliance is an association of foundations that meets regularly to consider issues related to Georgia public policy and grantmaking around the state.
